Holiday cheer round-up at Concert Properties

We pride ourselves on an exceptional workplace culture that focuses on our people. After a hiatus due to the pandemic, this holiday season marks the return of many fun festive traditions at Concert Properties both inside and outside of the offices. We are happy to share this round up of holiday cheer from around the company.

Kids Holiday Party

On Sunday, December 11, 2022, we made spirits bright for the children of Concert Properties with the return of our annual Children’s Holiday Party. Families had a blast exploring Jungle Jac's Playcentre, which features a three-storey playground, massive ball pit area and 2,000 square foot trampoline bounce zone. Toronto area families headed to The Bubble to jump in the air park, compete in laser tag and play arcade games. And as no children’s holiday party is complete without a visit from Santa Claus, each child left with a personalized gift and lots of great memories.

Annual Holiday Party

A much-loved annual tradition, each year staff from across the country gather to celebrate the holiday season. This year the parties were held in December at Hart House in Toronto and at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Dressed to the nines for the Hollywood (Vancouver) and Casino Royale (Toronto) themes, employees enjoyed a delicious dinner, great music and dancing, and fun in the photo booth.

Prosecco and Pajamas

Infusing a bit of holiday fun into December, Head Office held a Prosecco and PJ’s party on a Monday morning, with employees invited to wear their most cheerful pajamas as they enjoyed mimosas and waffles from Nero. Top prizes were handed out for ‘Most Festive Pajamas’ and ‘Most Comfortable Team.’

Gingerbread Houses

The IST team held their 2022 Gingerbread House Competition where they broke into six teams and got creative, demonstrating that their talents extend far beyond technology. The team in BC was then invited to add their final works of art to the Tapestry Arbutus Walk's Gingerbread Lane display. And in the Toronto office, a team got together to create a stunning – and delicious – gingerbread village.

Elf on the Shelf-Off

For some fun that could land us on the naughty list, we held a friendly ‘Elf on the Shelf-Off’ competition. For the chance to win gift cards and bragging rights, employees were invited to share their most creative and fun elf pictures throughout the first two weeks of December. Employees were then asked to vote for their favourite individual and team submission with "Elf joins the IST Team" winning the team entry.
