Victoria, BC, Canada – Concert today announced its decision to delay the Preview Opening of its fifth condominium development in Victoria – Era. Positioned as the best value of any downtown Victoria concrete built condominium project, the decision was prompted by uncertainty regarding the reversal of the HST.
“Our goal when we set out to create Era was simply to provide the best value and affordability of any new downtown Victoria concrete-built condominium,” said Rod Wilburn, Concert’s Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing. “We are hopeful that the Government will soon provide transition rules that could reduce the end cost of new housing. In the meantime, we felt that delaying the release of Era was the best decision for our home buyers.”
To date, Concert has developed four condominium projects in Victoria, including Astoria, Belvedere, Chelsea and 365 Waterfront. All were delivered on time and on budget and stand as a testament to Concert’s well-earned reputation as a developer that delivers on its promises, developing exceptional buildings to the highest level of quality and finish.
Concert will announce a new date for the Era Preview Opening in the coming weeks.
