Concert is pleased to announce that the company’s Motion residential rental building in downtown Toronto has been selected as a finalist in the Canadian Green Building Council’s Innovation in LEED Awards in the Residential category.
Motion’s embrace of environmental sustainability includes 85% of construction waste having been diverted from landfill, 18% of building materials recycled, the integration of an innovative recycling lounge, heat recovery ventilators and improved air quality, individually-metered electricity and water, a green roof, low-emitting materials, water and energy efficient fixtures and appliances, programmable thermostats and rainwater harvesting.
Winners will be announced at the Canadian Green Building Council’s sixth annual Greater Toronto Chapter Gala on October 22, 2015 at Arcadian Court in Toronto. The annual gala supports the Greater Toronto Chapter’s continuing education and training programs and networking events that promote the success and viability of sustainable building practices.
