For the past six years Concert staff have volunteered at the Scott Mission in Toronto.
Among their many services, the Scott Mission offers daily hot meals, low-cost daycare, summer camps for children and youth, free good-quality clothing, groceries, shower and laundry facilities for the homeless, an overnight program, shelter, and an after-school program for children and youth.
Two groups of Concert volunteers, one in July and one in August, helped serve lunch at the Mission by assisting with food prep, service, and clean up.
This year staff were invited to bring their teenage children to participate. Joseph Grassia’s (Senior Project Manager, Construction) son, Matteo, and Andrew Gray’s (Vice President, Eastern Region) daughter, Caroline, came to join in on the volunteer experience.
“The Mission does inspiring work in the community,” says Andrew Gray. “As a team, we’re proud to support this great initiative and do our part to help.”
