Vancouver, BC, Canada – On April 1, 2008, Concert celebrated the addition of the ‘Tapestry’ brand to its first seniors community.
Concert’s The O’Keefe seniors lifestyle community has been renamed Tapestry at The O’Keefe – Arbutus Walk. To commemorate the occasion, a new granite sign was unveiled at a ceremony attended by numerous guests, residents and local government representatives. Tapestry is located on the site of the former Carling O'Keefe brewery on West 12th Avenue within Arbutus Walk – a diverse master-planned neighbourhood in Vancouver's desirable Kitsilano neighbourhood.

Concert was also pleased to announce that Tapestry at Village Gate West in Etobicoke, ON opened the doors to its first residents on April 1, 2008. The 11-storey Tapestry at Village Gate West was inspired by Concert’s Tapestry at The O’Keefe - Arbutus Walk and contains 168 rental suites, along with 3,400 square feet of retail. Like Tapestry at The O’Keefe – Arbutus Walk, Concert is the developer of Tapestry at Village Gate West and co-owns the development with OMERS and Sun Life Financial. Leisure Care is also the exclusive operator.
