This summer, Concert’s Toronto team pitched in for the tenth year in a row to help build homes for Habitat for Humanity. The team of 10 spent the day swinging hammers and contributing to the construction of semi-detached homes in Scarborough.
These efforts are part of Concert CommunityWorks, the handle we’ve assigned to the numerous charitable activities and events that we undertake to support the communities in which we work, live and build.
Habitat for Humanity helps low-income families build and buy simple, decent quality affordable homes. This not only helps to provide available housing for families in need, it enables low-income families to build assets, reduce their dependence on other forms of social assistance and break the cycle of poverty.
